KMGN Project Report - Business aligned KM

During 2023/25 a project led by Dr. Pavel Kraus (SKMF, Switzerland) and Dr. Manfred Bornemann (GfWM, Austria) developed a guideline for “Business Aligned KM” by the Knowledge Management Global Network (KMGN) with the following contributors:

 Joshua Azaki, Nigeria; Sergio Gisbert, United Kingdom; Dr. Oliver Gutmann, Switzerland; Dr. Moria Levy, Israel; Glenroy London, Trinidad & Tobago; Sabyasachi Parida, Singapore; Dr. Gil Regev, Switzerland; Lynne Schneider, USA; Bart Verheijen, Netherlands.

Goal of the “KM Storytelling Canvas” project

Create an easily understandable connection between:

• Management’s annual goals and
• KM activities and interventions

Result:

• Convince management in a credible way using their own language that they can only
  achieve their goals with KM
• To strenghten the role of knowledge managers or KM consultants
• To make KM indispensable for business success
